Junior Girls at Immaculate Feel Empowered

Constable/Author Halley Willmott came to speak to the grade 5 and 6 girls about feeling empowered. Constable Willmott shared her personal journey while growing up and how she struggled to fit socially since she moved from school to school. As a result of that, Constable Willmott said that she found a love for reading and writing which led her to becoming a published author on top of being a police officer. Her message to the girls was that they all have gifts, talents and interests that they should embrace and that they are all valued and unique individuals.
