Did you know that unless you input the change, your tax-directed support on your property tax bill automatically supports the public school system? It is important to regularly verify your tax-directed support by either checking your property tax bill or by speaking to your landlord to confirm. By doing so, you support the board that best reflects your educational preferences, and you will also be able to vote in that board’s next municipal election for trustees. You can easily check and make changes to your direction of school support at the MPAC portal HERE.
