St. Francis Flames donate money and hair to Northern Cancer Foundation!

What started off as a fun idea in a class quickly became a school-wide event, benefiting our community in more ways than one!

Together, the school raised $660 for the Northern Cancer Foundation. Ajani, a student at the school, also raised an additional $920 – bringing their total to nearly $1600!
Ajani, along with two teachers Melissa and Amanda, also decided to donate their hair to the foundation so that wigs can be made for patients in need! Flames prove time and time again just how selfless they are! Great job by all.

Entire Marymount Student Population Completes ICE Certification!

The students at Marymount Academy had a unique opportunity to work with the Maison McCulloch Hospice! Through ICE Certification (Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Certification Certification), the school worked in groups to assist the Hospice, providing solutions to a real-life case study. The students will then present their ideas to the Hospice, who will help bring them to life!

This is a great opportunity for our Regals to learn about the value of business and creativity and give back to our community at the same time!

St. Charles College Elementary Student Scores Turning Points Award

Turning Points essays submitted to The Learning Partnership are intended to allow students to share an event in their life that changed or altered them. This year, the first St. Charles College elementary students took part by submitting their works of art.
