The students at Immaculate Conception school showed their Catholic Christmas spirit with their annual food drive. This year the students collected over 1300 food items to donate to St Vincent De Paul. Thank you to all our Immaculate families for sharing the true meaning of Christmas.

Immaculate holds May is for Mary assembly to begin Catholic Education Week!
Immaculate Conception school kicked off Catholic Education Week – Renewing the Promise with their May is for Mary assembly . Mrs. Hayden’s grade 1/2 class performed a song called “You Are a Gift To Me” dedicated to their mothers. Afterwards, students offered their mothers a flower. What a beautiful way to begin Catholic Education Week!

Mrs Hayden’s Grade 1/2 class at Immaculate Conception showed they are caring, Catholic citizens by cleaning up the school yard today in celebration of Earth Day. They encourage everyone to do their part and pitch in to keep our Earth clean and healthy!

Register with our schools during our Board wide information night occurring Wednesday, January 24 at 6 p.m!
These Information sessions are available for parents wanting to register their child(ren) for school beginning September 2018 (For children turning 4 years of age on or before December 31, 2018). If you are unable to attend these sessions at your school, we encourage you to contact the school to register on an alternative date. Both regular (English) and French Immersion programming is available.
Immaculate Cougars raise 1500 cans for St. Vincent de Paul!
Immaculate community collected 1500 non-perishable food items that were sent to St. Vincent de Paul who is affiliated with St. Kevin’s Parish. The cougars had a goal to gather 1000 cans but with our in school competition between classrooms, our students brought in 1500 cans! Thanks Immaculate for supporting families in need during this Christmas Season!

Students in Mrs. Lotter’s grade 2/3 class along with the her student teacher Tanya Turnbull shared the word November signifies Baashkaakodin Giizis – Freezing Moon in Ojibway. Students stand proud with their poppy along with their art projects.

Immaculate Cougars Celebrating Canada’s Upcoming Birthday!
On, June 27 2017, Immaculate students took part in various activities to commemorate Canada’s upcoming 150th birthday such as beach ball soccer and building Inukshuks. Fun was hard by all students.
Immaculate Participates in National Aboriginal Day
Students at Immaculate heard various stories that outlined the history of Indigenous people. In addition, they participated in a whole school colouring contest and the winners were very proud of their work. Way to go Cougars!
