St. Benedict CSS Receives Cheque Donation

St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School was presented with a cheque in the amount of $945.00 from Benson Autoparts recently. The money was raised during the “Benson Autoparts Customer Appreciation Golf Tournament” that was held at the Timberwolf Golf Club in August 2006.

Guy Mathieu, Principal of St. Benedict CSS, thanked Benson Autoparts for their generous donation to the school and stated that, “the welcomed funds will be used to update tools and equipment in the transportation technology shop.” Dan Martell, Benson Autoparts Store Manager noted that he first became aware of some of the needs of the Transportation Technology Department at the school when the students were building their racing car in 2005.

“At that time Benson Autoparts supplied the school with tires and other accessories for the car. Since then the relationship between St. Benedict Catholic School and Benson Autoparts has grown stronger and that is why it gives me great pleasure to present this cheque to the school to continue the great work that they are doing in their Transportation Technology Department,” stated Martell.
