Reading with the Stars
On Wednesday January 27th the students of St. Andrew School enjoyed a visit from Father Sam D’Angelo or Madame Joanne Bénard as part of the annual Reading With the Stars.
Each January for the past several years the students have been read to by many “stars”. We have had priests, nuns, undertakers, hockey players and special friends from the Catholic School Board.
This year Madame Bénard, Director of Education, read the hilarious book entitled “The Book With No Words” by R.J. Novak and Father Sam read the touching Max Lucado book entitled “The Crippled Lamb”. St. Andrew School feels very fortunate to have have these special guests give up some of their time to share a book and discussion with our classes.
