St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School Presents ‘An Inconvenient Truth’
In the hope of raising greater awareness of Global Warming,
St. Benedict Catholic Secondary students currently enroled in science courses and those involved with the environmental club have been invited to a private showing of Al Gore’s recent documentary: An Inconvenient Truth.
The film focuses on the effect of climate change and will allow high school students to become educated re the climate crisis that will pose a formidable problem for their generation.
The screening of an Inconvenient Truth will take place at the Rainbow Cinemas, 40 Elm Street, Sudbury, on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. This event has been sponsored by Canadian Injury Management Services and busing for the school’s students has been provided by the Rotary Club.
