Michael Bellmore
About Michael BellmoreBorn in Sudbury, Michael Bellmore is a proud alumnus of Sudbury Catholic Schools (Immaculate Conception and St. Charles College). He was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2010, however he was elected to the former Sudbury District Roman Catholic Separate School Board in 1994 as one of the youngest ever elected, and served until 1997. A longtime and passionate advocate for education he also served as a member of the Cambrian College Board of Governors and as a student leader at the local and provincial levels. He is a graduate of the Public Relations program of the College and works at Silver Cross Sudbury. He also specializes in accessible vehicle modifications. He holds the designation of Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA). For the past 19 years he has been seen every Saturday evening on long running local CTV programming Super Big Money TV Bingo as the host and caller. Committed to building a Greater Sudbury he has served on numerous boards and organizations and is currently the Chair of the Greater Sudbury Public Library Board, Co-Chair of the Junction Development City of Greater Sudbury and Director of the Sudbury Credit Union. Committed to Catholic education especially for the unique complexities of Northern boards, Michael is also a strong advocate for Catholic education and is proud to serve as a director with the Ontario Catholic Schools Trustee Association (OCSTA) for Northern Ontario. Michael is happily married to his wife Kimberley. Son Miles and daughter Grace attend Sudbury Catholic Schools. Ray Desjardins
About Ray DesjardinsRay Desjardins was raised in Cobalt, Ontario and married his wife Cathy in 1975. With a B.A. in Geography from Laurentian University and a M.A. (Educational Administration) from Central Michigan University, Ray, who is bilingual, started his teaching career at St. Mary Catholic Elementary School. He continued as Vice-Principal at St. Charles and St. Anne Catholic Elementary Schools, and then was Principal of Our Lady of Fatima, St. Stephen, St. Luke, St. James, St. Theresa and St. Francis Catholic Elementary Schools. Ray has served provincially as a board member, executive member and President of the Catholic Principal Council of Ontario, as well as having served on the national Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Principals. Ray was first elected to the Sudbury Catholic District School Board of Trustees in 2010. Active in the community, Ray has served many years on the Parish Council of St. Alexander Parish as well being an active L'Arche Sudbury volunteer and former board member. In June of 2022 Ray was selected to be the Grand Knight for the St Alexander Council# 11219. Ray enjoys the arts in the community, is a season ticket holder for the Sudbury Wolves, and is into technology and new challenges in his life. Zone 2 Schools |

Jody Cameron
About Jody CameronJody Cameron has been a Trustee with the Sudbury Catholic District School Board since 2000. Jody has held the position of Vice-chair and Chair of the Board for several terms. Since 1999 Jody has enjoyed a career working for the City of Greater Sudbury's Economic Development Department where he manages the Web / Marketing section. Jody holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Executive Management, a Masters Certificate in Municipal Management, and his Ec.D (Community Economic Development) designation from the University of Waterloo. Jody is married to his high school sweetheart Victoria, has two children - Brianna and Kieran, and in his spare time enjoys playing sports, walking their two dogs, and travelling. Zone 6 Schools |

Nancy Deni
About Nancy DeniNancy Deni is a graduate of Laurentian University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (1994) degree. Upon graduation, Nancy spent several years in the investment industry in Toronto and Sudbury, having worked for BMO Nesbitt Burns and Goodman & Company. Throughout her investment career she continued to upgrade her education and attained her Canadian Investment Manager designation. Nancy is currently a manager at Freelandt Caldwell Reilly LLP. She has previously assisted as the treasurer and executive board member of Nickel City Aquatics and served on the Ward 8 Community Action Network. Nancy was previously a Eucharistic Minister and committed volunteer for St. Andrew’s Church. She was amongst the first cohort of trustees to complete the University Certificate Course for Catholic Trustees. Zone 5 Schools |

Shannon Gouchie
About Shannon GouchieShannon Gouchie is an alumna of McMaster University, where she earned Bachelors of Arts & Sciences and Health Sciences degrees and is currently on track to obtain a Master of Health Management degree this spring. Upon graduation, she worked as an Occupational Therapist at Health Sciences North (HSN), where she has remained with the organization. Presently, she serves as the Clinical Manager of the Regional Outpatient Geriatric Medicine Service at the North East Specialized Geriatric Centre (NESGC), a testament to her unwavering commitment to the field and her dedication to advancing healthcare services. Professionally, Shannon's role as an occupational therapist and clinical lead of the Children's Treatment Centre has equipped her with valuable expertise in special education, accessibility, and pediatric rehabilitation. Drawing from her experience as the past vice-president of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), Shannon is well-versed in board governance and Ministry directives. Her active participation in strategic planning at COTO and Health Sciences North, coupled with leadership, quality improvement, and finance training through her Master of Health Management coursework, underscores her comprehensive skill set. Shannon is also a devoted member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, where she has served in various capacities. She is a proud graduate of the Sudbury Catholic District School Board and is a current parent with three children that have attended Sudbury Catholic Schools. Shirley McKnight
About Shirley McKnightBorn in Sudbury, Shirley McKnight has been engaged in Education for 45 years. Shirley obtained her Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University and returned home to teach at the Sudbury Catholic School Board. Shirley thoroughly enjoyed her 18 years as a classroom teacher and 12 years as a Vice-Principal and Principal. Shirley retired in 2007 and soon after was presented with the opportunity to become a Sessional instructor in the Faculty of Education, at Laurentian University. For the past 14 years, she has been instructing Teacher Candidates, as they prepare to enter the field of Education. Shirley has also been a Faculty Advisor and a mentor for the teacher candidates during their teaching placements, providing them with feedback to improve their practice. . Shirley has been married for 46 years and has 2 sons. She enjoys spending time with her sons and their wives but most of all she treasures her time with her granddaughter. She was raised in the Catholic Faith. In her spare time, Shirley enjoys spending time at her cottage with family and friends, reading and Pilates. Zone 1 Schools |
